Vision 20/20 Fellowship – Germination Project

Overview

Collaborated directly with Germination Project leadership to develop “Advancing AI and Biotech Leadership,” a Vision 20/20 policy report proposing a blueprint for positioning Philadelphia as a global hub for biotechnology and artificial intelligence. As the sole youth fellow, I initiated my involvement to contribute a next-generation perspective on how cities can drive innovation through capital, lab space, licensing reform, and workforce development

Reflection

Working on Vision 20/20 gave me a front-row view of how cities plan for scientific and economic renewal. Collaborating with civic leaders and policy experts taught me how large-scale innovation depends on infrastructure, access, and leadership that aligns science with strategy. It reaffirmed my goal to shape the systems that turn discovery into opportunity.
